Hiatus explained

Sorry for the lack of posting lately. My only excuses are triesomely predictable: finishing the term's final papers, the consumerist season, obligatory family and friend-oriented gathering (not nearly as tedious as a brief blurb makes them sound, by any means) work at the 'educational facility' picks up greatly during the holiday weeks when occupancy of the classrooms are low, and personal concerns such as "am I always going to be alone", "should I take the job in Afghanistan?" (which goes to point #1 as well), and "Should I take the job in Hawaii?" compete with "I am really well established and fairly comfortable in the Pac NW with friends, family, my own home which I cannot unload in this economy, and continuing school to get my MBA."
